In the very first episode of the animated Lupin The Thirdseries, Daisuke Jigen, the right-hand man and best friend of the title character Lupin III, is portrayed wearing a watch based on the Zenith A384 with a black, grey and gilt dial that had never actually existed. The Lupin The Third series was created in 1965 by Kazuhiko Katō under the pen name Monkey Punch.
Zenith has launched the final timepiece of its limited edition trilogy inspired by the famous Japanese manga and anime series Lupin The Third.
